Award-winning mystery author and former broadcast journalist Author Bio Gail Hulnick is an award-winning mystery author and former broadcast journalist whose work bridges journalism and fiction. She was on air with CBC Radio in Vancouver, Canada for fifteen years, including a stint as host of the morning show The Early Edition from 1981 to 1987. She worked in radio and television in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario for many years. She is the author of the Media Mysteries series, including Red Herrings Radio, winner of the 2025 Canadian Book Club Award (Mystery/Thriller). She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and is currently based in Washington State.
