Rumble Strip Benelux (And a Boat)In the spring of 2019, when travelers could cross borders with ease and did not have to fear a global pandemic, Gail Hulnick planned a road trip that zoomed from the canals of Brussels and Bruges to the castles and bridges of Luxembourg. With her driver/ husband, who gets the nickname “the Zig” for the purposes of this series, she explored the three countries that make up the region known as Benelux: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The return trip to the U.S. was on board the Queen Mary 2, across the north Atlantic. Come along for the ride!
